Beth Godwin

I am a full time coach and have worked with my own coach for the past five years, so am familiar with the coaching relationship from both sides. I am passionate about what I do and believe that everyone has the right to be free to be the person they were born to be. I believe that my most valuable contribution to the coaching relationship is my sense of humour, my ability to uplift, clarify, empower and motivate, while being compassionate. I am here to support you to achieve your dreams, and to live and enjoy the quality of life, the way you truly want to.

My passions and interests other than coaching are connecting with family and friends, my animals, including my horses, quilting, felting and travel. I believe we need to be fit and healthy in order to live our lives to the fullest and to this end I walk every day, do Pilates at least once a week, cycle when I get the chance and eat intuitively.

Prior to building my Life & Small Business Coaching practice in New Zealand, I was a university lecturer, teaching in the areas of marketing, relationship management, services marketing and consumer behaviour. I authored articles on customer service and researched in the area of consumer stress. I was also the director of a consulting business, working with clients both big and small, including some of New Zealand’s leading telecommunications and energy providers. During this time I realised my true passion was in coaching the students, executives and colleagues that I came into contact with. This led me to make the change to fulltime coaching and develop my company, Aquila Coaching Ltd.
